At Learn Outdoors we pride ourselves on delivering bespoke, high quality DofE Expedition programmes at sensible prices. 

Straightforward Pricing 

Our pricing policy is simple and transparent to help make it easier for you to budget.  For a DofE programme consisting of Training along with Practice and Qualifying expeditions we charge a rate of £50 per participant per day (based on a minimum of 10 participants).   This price includes participant campsite fees. The total cost of a programme will depend on the number of days we are engaged for but typical examples are:       

 

DofE Bronze Expedition 1 day Training, 2 day Practice, 2 day Qualifier = £250 per participant

DofE Silver  Expedition 1 day Training, 3 day Practice, 3 day Qualifier = £350 per participant 

DofE Gold  Expedition  2 day Training, 4 day Practice, 5 day Qualifier = £550 per participant

Equipped Expeditions 

Many schools and individuals have access to their own camping equipment however if you would prefer Learn Outdoors to supply high quality trekking tents, gas Trangia stoves and fuel then we charge a rate of £56 per participant per day (based on a minimum of 10 participants). This price includes participant campsite fees. The total cost of a programme will depend on the number of days we are engaged for but typical examples are: 

 

DofE Bronze Expedition 1 day Training, 2 day Practice, 2 day Qualifier = £280 per participant 

DofE Silver  Expedition 1 day Training, 3 day Practice, 3 day Qualifier = £392 per participant 

DofE Gold  Expedition 2 day Training, 4 day Practice, 5 day Qualifier = £616 per participant

The vast majority of our work comes from repeat business.  Over time we develop strong relationships with schools and groups, creating affordable programmes that deliver great results year on year. 

We will work very closely with you to provide tailor-made packages that suit your needs, for example we can cater for additional training days, route planning sessions and extended practice expeditions if required.
